I am always looking for new ways to adorn the mantle and space above the fire place. Here is another winning piece of art from Tamar Mogendorff. Her deer head is perfectly classy and neutral to fit into any space.
Today we moved my desk to a new space. I have the view of the trees to my left. It is quite pretty. Next step is to introduce some flowers for some paff! of color.

Yesterday I spent the day on foot walking through my neighborhood. So many cherry blossoms. They don't last the whole season but the best part about them, is that I can look up and down and be tickled pink with their petals under my toes.
I truly am appreciating watercolors these days. Maybe the air is lighter and sunnier. Maybe I like the transparency and depth it brings to the works. This artist Caitlin McGauley leaves me mouth watering. You may have come across her art in J.Crew, Kate Spade and Lonny. See her works here: caitlinmcgauley.com
I have my eye on these boots...today was a brisk 9 degrees and thought wouldn't it be nice to strut my stuff in these babies??

Great way to add color into your home. I'd love to be able to string out some color like this on the balcony, or criss-cross over your windows in doors, or just like the photo high above your heads. This photo was found on the dutch's StyleCookie.nl
I love these colors in this first photo. Oh so lovely...the dress ain't so bad either ;) (found on the decor8 blog)
I found this months ago and kept it in my "like" archive. Great way to emphasize words. Scribbling the background makes this pop with the simple lined font. I likey. And might use this one day in my own stuff.
