As I go through my morning blog reading routine i was stopped in my tracks with this adorable photo from ohdeedoh.com. I love chalk board. I bring into projects alot these days. And to use it as a photo backdrop is brilliant.

Pizza Bianca

We shook up the kitchen this weekend and made an incredible pizza.
Made the Pizza dough, covered it in Béchamel, porcini, red onion, and provolone cheese. My first bite melted in my mouth. Nothing like a good Sunday night pizza to jump start a long work week.

Will Cotton's tasty visual treats

Will Cotton paints absolutely dreamy paintings. When I saw Katy Perry's music video California Gurls I immediately thought of Will Cotton and the next thought was "rip off"...but to my tasty delight, he was the artistic director! What a relief! Check out his site and grab yourself some leftover valentine sweet treats too..Now I am thinking of Sofia Coppola's 2006 Marie Antoinette with Kristen Dunst...Maybe he had a roll in artistic direction there too for those dessert scenes..

Japanese Washi Tape..wa'sh and learn...

I have a regret. I regret not buying a few things that I saw in Tokyo. One of these were decorative tapes i came across a few times there. I kept saying, oh! I'll find it at the next shop...they were everywhere and suddenly i was nowhere near there. I found a couple at Omer des Serres in Montreal that are priced really well. I use them to seal my envelops and wrap up my gifts. So pretty. And now I found this great site where you have many to choose from. yummy! See Happy Tape Big Cartel...Cute Tape...

Happy Hearts Day!

I was inspired by this DIY project for valentines day. Instead of chasing my love with chocolates and candy i decided to treat him to something just as sweet and guilt-free (bonus!). He was very surprised and most importantly he thought i was adorable. Too bad I can't take credit for the idea or the graphics, instead I owe it Twig and Thistle.

Valentines weekend fun

Valentines Day is another fun excuse to get crafty on my honey and decorate our home. Every year we've been able to create our gifts for each other. He cooks+bakes and I gift him with something I make. This is a work in progress...I'll have to get him out of the house at some point so I can finish it up.

Put a sparkle into your step

I came across this image on line last week. I should have made a note where from. Sorry. When I was renovating my house last year I came across these jeweled tiles and was trying to figure out where I can use them in the house without looking like a flattened disco ball. With this image in mind, I am rethinking the whereabouts of bling placement in the home for our next project. I like la bling!
