Another Spring has Sprung for Adesso
Shake is announcing Adesso's new website for Spring 2011 that we designed for them and their little sister line called Sorellina. The duo have the dreamiest photos on the site. Samantha Goldstone is the talent and brains behind the jewelry line. She has exquisite taste and it shows through her designs. You can see for yourself and the best part...you can purchase her jewelry on line. On these frigid days...its cozier to shop from home especially when Adesso is in California. And as a side note...her photos are stunning... as a graphic designer, working with great shots make the designing so much smoother.

I bought these fabulous shoe clips this afternoon. A great way to spruce up some old flats that are boring you these days. I've had my eye on them and decided that instead of wearing my heart on my sleeve I shall wear them on my shoes! See more on amazing ShopBando.com

Spring Sparrows
Now that we've reached Friday, seems like the days have unraveled themselves as a bird themed week. The famed Pottery Barn has another bed cover that makes me happy. Imagine waking up to the sweet sound of crisp sheets flanked with these spring sparrows? Delightful.

A little bird led me too....
I adore walking into small shops to search for original finds. However I do tend to search for objects for the home in large stores too like Pottery Barn for inspiration. Today's find is this Woodland light...the best part, its on sale too...go before bye bye birdie.

New vintage
I discovered this fabulous line of pattern. The best graphics I find on baby clothes and accessories. At the children's section of ABC Home in NYC was an armoir packed with Shinzi Katoh Collection.
The bath towels, baby blankets and wipes were so delicately designed. These were themed fairy tale stories as the designs. So cute.

What to do with some of your ornaments
Sadly, now that the holidays are over you have to undo the joy you had decorating your home and tree. Here's a way to keep some of that lingering around throughout the winter blahs. Set up some large tree branches in vases and hang your favorite ornaments. Then use some of the lights to brighten it up. If you have a fire place, set this up in front or you can set it up on your table. Any place where you can admire it and keep your spirits high. Too bad they don't stock eggnog anymore a little splash of bourbon in it would do us good on these cold nights.
My new love affair
I am sure you've observed that I have posted quite a few posts on rings. I was deep in research for my first stacking ring. NYC was part of a holiday getaway and I came across the one at Bergdorf's. I was gifted this Carolina Bucci ring. It's the perfect beginning of a stack. My love affair with rose gold begins here. No worries, rings posts will continue because I am looking out for 2 more friends to accompany this sweet new one.
